Meet Your San Angelo Family Orthodontist
Dr. David Farnsworth hails from Arizona and spent two years in Puebla, Mexico on a service mission for his church. There, he became fluent in Spanish. Dr. Farnsworth then attended Arizona State University, where he studied philosophy, Spanish, and biological sciences. He was a Summa Cum Laude graduate and went on to attend Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
During dental school, Dr. Farnsworth received numerous accolades, including the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for Academic Achievements in Dentistry and membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Society. Upon completing dental school with the highest distinction, he was accepted into Baylor for his orthodontic residency. While there, he conducted cutting-edge research and received an M.S. in Oral Biology and his orthodontic certificate. His research was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics.
Dr. Farnsworth enjoys a variety of hobbies, such as camping, waterskiing, and reading. However, he cherishes time with his wife and their four children above all else.
Board-Certified Orthodontist Dr. Jae Brimhall has been straightening teeth for over a decade, working in practices across Kentucky, Colorado, and Texas. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve their best smiles and is thrilled to be serving the San Angelo community.

Dr. Jae is a proud graduate of Brigham Young University, where he earned his BS degree, and the University of Kentucky, where he obtained his DMD and MS in Orthodontics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
In his free time, Dr. Jae enjoys searching for the best BBQ joints throughout Texas, where he now calls home. He is a fan of Kentucky basketball and can often be found cheering on the Wildcats during March Madness.
Orthodontic care for patients of all ages
Everyone deserves to have a beautiful, straight smile they can feel proud of, regardless of age. At our San Angelo office, we offer quality orthodontic care for patients of all ages, including children, teens, and adults. Our team of orthodontic specialists provides a range of treatments, including braces and Invisalign, to help you achieve the smile of your dreams.
Orthodontics for children
Did you know that the American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children get a check-up by an orthodontist no later than age 7? At Farnsworth Family Orthodontics, we agree. By age 7, your child's teeth will have developed enough for us to identify any small problems that may exist in their growing teeth and jaw. Early treatment allows us to monitor the growth and development of your child's jaw, meaning we can catch and begin treating problems while they're still in the early stages, which can cut down the length of treatment considerably.
Orthodontic Care for Teens
Many teens are curious about how long they will need to be in braces. The truth is, every case is unique, and there is no set answer. However, our team will do everything possible to ensure that your teen achieves their most beautiful smile. Today's braces are vastly superior to those of previous generations, with several styles, materials, and colors to choose from. Ceramic braces are also an option, which are designed to blend in discreetly with teeth, and clear aligners like Invisalign offer a wire-free alternative to traditional braces.
Adult orthodontics
Orthodontic treatment is not just for children and teens. In fact, adults make up roughly 20 percent of all orthodontic patients these days. Many adults choose to pursue orthodontics later in life to maintain their oral health or to feel better about the way their smile looks. At Farnsworth Family Orthodontics, we recognize that each patient has different dental needs and offer personalized treatment plans to help you achieve your goals.
